Toast it!

Once upon a time in Shinjuku and Shibuya, when my attention was caught by plastic food in the display window of two restaurants. In the beginning I wasn't sure about the origin of these curiosities, when I finally realised, that it's supposed to be toast. Yeah! Just a block of white bread and fruits or ice cream...culinary highlight!

Es war einmal vor einiger Zeit in Shinjuku und Shibuya, als mein Augenmerk auf die Plastikauslagen eines Schaufensters von zwei Restaurants fiel. Anfangs wusste ich nicht so recht, was das sein sollte, bis ich endlich gemerkt habe, dass es sich bei dem Ausgestellten um einen Toastblock handelt. Lecker! Man nehme einen Block Weissbrot, gibt Früchte und/oder Eis dazu und fertig ist...der kulinarische Höhepunkt!
